It also covers information we collect at events, on coaching and sales calls, by phone, by text message, and by email.

When we act for a client. When Pest Daily runs marketing, websites, CRM, or lead campaigns for a pest control or home-services business, we may process information about that client's customers. In that role we act as a service provider (processor) under our client agreement. The client's own privacy policy governs that information, and requests about it should go to the client first.

Third-party sites. Pages, platforms, and tools run by other companies, even if linked from our Services, follow their own privacy policies.

By using the Services you acknowledge this policy and agree to our Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please stop using the Services. Questions or requests: see Section 13, Contact Us.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the categories below. We have collected each of them in the past 12 months.

A. Information you give us

  • Contact data: name, business name, job title, email, phone number, mailing address, city, state, and ZIP code.
  • Account data: username, password, and authentication details for our learning platform, LINK, and apps.
  • Business data: company size, service area, revenue range, number of trucks or technicians, goals, and similar details you share in forms, assessments, or coaching.
  • Transaction data: what you bought or registered for, and billing address. Payment card details are entered directly into our payment processor (for example, Stripe or a similar processor). We do not store full card numbers or security codes on our systems.
  • Communications and content: messages, survey answers, reviews, community posts, uploaded files, and course submissions.
  • Call, meeting, and event data: audio, video, transcripts, and notes from coaching, sales, and consulting calls (see Section 4), plus event registration details, dietary or accessibility requests you choose to give, and badge scans.
  • Demographic data you choose to give: for example, age range or country.

B. Information collected automatically

  • Usage data: pages viewed, features used, courses started and completed, emails opened, links clicked, referring and exit pages, and time and date of visits.
  • Device data: browser and device type, operating system, IP address, device identifiers, mobile advertising ID, and language settings.
  • Approximate location: city- or ZIP-level location derived from IP address. We do not collect precise geolocation unless you turn it on in an app and we tell you why.

We use cookies, pixels (web beacons), log files, and app software development kits (SDKs) to collect this data. Section 7 explains these tools and how to control them.

C. Information from other sources

  • Social networks and podcast platforms you interact with us on.
  • Event co-hosts, sponsors, and strategic partners, when you agree to share with us.
  • Business data providers and public sources, such as company websites, state business registries, and pest control licensing records.
  • Our affiliates and the service providers that help us run the Services.

D. Sensitive information

We do not ask for sensitive personal information such as Social Security numbers, health information, precise geolocation, or biometric data. Please do not send it to us. If you share it anyway (for example, on a call), we use it only to respond to you and do not use it to infer characteristics about you.

3. How We Use Information

We use personal information to:

  • Provide, operate, and secure the Services, including accounts, courses, LINK, events, and apps.
  • Deliver coaching, consulting, marketing, and other services you buy from us.
  • Process payments, registrations, and orders.
  • Respond to questions and give customer support.
  • Send service messages, such as receipts, account notices, security alerts, and policy changes.
  • Send marketing by email, text, and other channels, where the law allows and with consent when required.
  • Measure and improve our content, products, and website performance.
  • Run research, surveys, and focus groups.
  • Personalize content and recommendations.
  • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
  • Comply with the law, enforce our terms, and protect our rights and the rights of others.
  • Carry out any other purpose we describe when we collect the information, or with your consent.

We may create de-identified or aggregated information, such as industry benchmarks, from personal information. We keep it in de-identified form, do not try to re-identify it, and require recipients to do the same.

4. Artificial Intelligence and Your Data

Pest Daily uses AI tools to work faster and serve clients better. Our position is simple: your data is used to serve you, never to train someone else's public AI model, and a person stays accountable for what AI produces.

Our commitments

  • No training of public models on your data. We use AI providers only under business or enterprise terms that bar the provider from training its general models on our inputs and outputs. We do not sell or license your personal information or call recordings to anyone to train AI.
  • Purpose-limited use. We use AI to summarize calls, draft documents and content, analyze business data you share with us, power support and search features, and help our team respond faster. We use AI outputs only for the purpose you engaged us for.
  • Human review. A Pest Daily team member reviews AI-assisted client deliverables, coaching recommendations, and outbound communications before they go out. We do not use AI to make decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects, such as decisions about employment, credit, housing, insurance, or access to essential services.
  • Disclosure. If you are talking with an AI chat or voice agent on our Services, we will tell you. You can ask to reach a person at any time.
  • Vetted vendors. AI providers we use are bound by written agreements that cover confidentiality, security, and data deletion, and that limit their use of data to providing services to us.
  • Minimum data. We avoid putting sensitive personal information into AI tools. Where practical, we remove or mask personal details before analysis.
  • Security and retention. AI-processed data follows the same security controls and retention schedule as the rest of our data (Sections 10 and 11).

Call recording and AI notetakers

We may record and transcribe coaching, consulting, sales, and support calls using AI notetaker tools (for example, Fathom or Zoom). We tell participants at the start of a recorded call or in the meeting invitation, and we record only with the consent required by law. Some states, including Florida, require the consent of all parties. If you do not want a call recorded, tell us before or during the call and we will turn recording off. Recordings and transcripts are used to deliver and improve our services to you, for coaching quality, and for internal training of our own team.

Client data in AI systems

When we process a client's business or customer data on their behalf, we use it only under the client's instructions and our agreement. We do not combine one client's confidential data with another's or use it to benefit other clients.

Your AI choices

You can ask us to: tell you whether AI tools processed your personal information, opt out of AI-assisted processing of your calls or submissions where feasible, have a person review an AI-assisted outcome, and delete recordings and transcripts about you. Use the contact details in Section 13.

5. Text Messaging (SMS/MMS)

If you give us your mobile number and opt in, Pest Daily may send you text messages about your account, purchases, events, appointments, courses, and offers. Agreeing to receive marketing texts is never a condition of buying anything.

  • Frequency: message frequency varies.
  • Cost: message and data rates may apply.
  • Opt out: reply STOP at any time to cancel. We will confirm by text and send no further messages unless you opt in again.
  • Help: reply HELP or contact us at privacy@pestdaily.com.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

No sharing of mobile opt-in data. We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile number or SMS opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We share this information only with service providers (such as our texting platform and phone carriers) to deliver messages to you. Text message opt-in data and consent are excluded from all other sharing described in this policy.

We send texts only during hours permitted by federal and state law, and we keep records of your consent.

6. How We Disclose Information

We disclose personal information to the following recipients, and have done so in the past 12 months:

We do not sell personal information for money. Some ad and analytics sharing may count as a "sale" or "sharing" for targeted advertising under some state laws. You can opt out of that at any time (Section 8). As stated in Section 5, mobile numbers and SMS consent are never shared for marketing.

7. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising

We use analytics tools such as Google Analytics, HubSpot, and similar services to understand how people use the Services. We also work with advertising partners such as Google and Meta to show our ads on other sites and apps.

  • Interest-based advertising: tracking tools on our Services and in our emails may follow activity across sites and devices over time to deliver ads more relevant to you.
  • Matched audiences: we may upload hashed contact lists (such as email addresses) or use pixels (such as the Meta pixel) so platforms can show ads to you or people like you. SMS opt-in data is never used this way.
  • Session and persistent cookies: session cookies end when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remember preferences, support security, and support advertising.

Your controls

  • Global Privacy Control (GPC): we treat a GPC browser signal as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your data for targeted advertising, for that browser.
  • Cookie settings: use our cookie banner or preferences link where offered, or block and delete cookies in your browser settings.
  • Google: opt out of Google Analytics at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout and manage ad settings at https://adssettings.google.com.
  • Industry tools: https://www.aboutads.info/choices, https://www.aboutads.info/appchoices, and https://www.networkadvertising.org/choices.
  • Mobile: reset or limit your advertising ID in device settings.
  • Do Not Track: browsers' Do Not Track signals have no common standard, so we do not respond to them. We do honor GPC as described above.

Opt-outs apply only to the browser or device you use them on. Blocking cookies may stop some features from working.

8. Your Rights and Choices

We offer the following rights to all U.S. residents, whether or not your state's law requires them:

  • Know and access: ask what personal information we hold about you and get a copy in a portable format.
  • Correct: ask us to fix inaccurate information.
  • Delete: ask us to delete information we hold about you.
  • Opt out of targeted advertising and "sale" or "sharing": use the Your Privacy Choices link in our site footer, turn on GPC, or contact us.
  • Opt out of profiling used for decisions with legal or similarly significant effects. We do not do this kind of profiling (see Section 4).
  • Limit sensitive data use: we do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you.
  • Non-discrimination: we will not deny service, charge different prices, or give lower quality because you used your rights. We do not retaliate against employees, applicants, or contractors who use their rights.

How to make a request. Email privacy@pestdaily.com, or call 813-680-4768. We will confirm receipt within 10 business days and respond within 45 days. We may extend that by another 45 days when reasonably necessary and will tell you if we do.

Verification. To protect you, we verify requests by matching information you give with what we hold. Logged-in account holders may be verified through their account.

Authorized agents. You may use an authorized agent. We may ask for signed permission and may ask you to verify your identity directly.

Appeals. If we deny your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision or emailing privacy@pestdaily.com with "Appeal" in the subject. We will respond within the time your state's law requires, generally 45 to 60 days. If you disagree with the result, you may contact your state attorney general.

Exceptions. We may keep information when the law requires it, to complete a transaction, for security, to resolve disputes, or to enforce agreements.

Email. Unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any email, or email us with UNSUBSCRIBE in the subject. You will still get service messages about your account and purchases.

Push notifications. Turn them off in your device settings or uninstall the app.

Text messages. Reply STOP (Section 5).

10. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you and regulators as the law requires.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, as defined by the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), and we do not knowingly sell or share data of anyone under 18.
